The Power in Surrender

Learning to receive and surrender to Source's guidance is a pivotal step on the spiritual journey. It is one of the successive doorways to our freedom. When we surrender, we enter a place of internal calmness, of deep peace, and a profound knowing that something much greater than our individual selves is looking out for our best interests - and we step out of It's way.

It is through our internal calmness that we connect to Source and can truly co-create the life that is in accord with our heart's desire and that is ours by Divine Right.

The process of surrendering itself brings about that for which we search. It opens us up to the possibility of profound knowing of Divine Truth, which is the highest level of Truth not limited by our ego-mind-wounded emotional body complex.

Our pain body, the lower mind-ego-wounded emotional body complex, can hold us captive in drama, worry, fear, negative thinking, trauma, repetitive suffering -- and potentially create the conditions for drama, trauma, and karma. This shadow is tucked down deep within us, often below our conscious awareness. We see only its fruits.

When we surrender over and over again to the deep, unending Divine love and care of our Creator, we open to the possibility of finding our true essence, the beautiful Light of Source within us, and following that Guidance to creates lives of beauty and bliss.

Likewise, when we surrender our perceptions of the limitations of time, we let go of our tight clutches upon it. By letting go and releasing, we allow our experience of time to expand. In letting go and surrendering, we learn that there is plenty of time to get everything done that is ours to get done. We also let go of getting things done that are not ours to get done.

Time is part of the illusion of third-dimensional reality, relative to how we perceive it. Remember, relativity is dynamic and ever-changing. It is not static.

When we surrender to Divine love, we may perceive that we become vulnerable. It is through this vulnerability that we create true connection with Source, the connection that we all seek. Often, we must learn this through our direct experience of our connection with Source and our Self before we can truly find it with another human being.

By chasing after love with a specific human being -- whether a father, a mother, a child of ours, another man or woman -- we often push what is meant for us and is ours by Divine Right further away because we are not available to receive it when Source is ready to give it to us. On the other hand, by releasing our attachments to outcomes on our demanding timetable, we stop constricting our pipeline and open it up to give Source full access to bless us with exactly who and what is Divinely right for us.

This gives deeper understanding to the words:

It is through the dynamic of ongoing surrender to the highest and best outcome according to Source - which we likely cannot fully define for ourselves - that Divine creation truly begins to unfold for us individually.

As we surrender to receiving Divine love, to living a deeply spiritual life even in the midst of third-dimensional reality, and to a profound connection to Source, all will begin to unfold in the most magical and miraculous of ways.

Relief from Migraine Headaches

I began having migraine headaches about 10 years ago, which became progressively intense and frequent. I tried everything I could think of to stop having them but wasn't able to do so.

Through a friend, I heard of Ashley's work. I was hopeful yet skeptical. I had tried so many things that didn't work for me. I called her to see if I could get a healing by phone or if I had to be there in person. She asked me a few diagnostic questions. Then to my amazement, she asked Source a lot more diagnostic questions including whether she and Source could be of assistance to me.

After she received an affirmative from Source, we set an appointment for two weeks later.

Astoundingly, I did not have a single one before our scheduled appointment. Because of this, I must confess that I became more hopeful as the time passed and I continued to be pain-free.

When I called her at the scheduled time, she got right to the healing work with Source and, she said, my Higher Self. She asked me to pay attention to whatever I noticed in my body as the healing progressed.

I appreciated that Ashley spoke out loud to Source as well as what she was doing so I was totally involved throughout the session and, believe me, learning every step of the way.

To the best of my memory, she first worked with me to ensure I was congruent with receiving the healing. She explained that a lot of times people will believe they want something but internally parts of them will actually be in resistance.

Believe me, I was glad she did this because I didn't want any part of me to resist. I wanted my migraines to STOP!!!

After any shadow was released and I was congruent, she asked Source what the "entry point" was. It turned out to be in my maternal bloodline. Duh. My mother and her mother both suffered from migraine headaches. I knew that but hadn't though to tell Ashley that. Instead, she told me!

After speaking out loud with Source, Ashley said, "We have to go back and help your great-great-great-great-great grandmother heal a past life. Prior to this experience, I would have been amazed to hear someone say such a thing but I was feeling the energy of what she was doing.

I said, "Let's do it!."

Long story short, my ancestor was riding sidesaddle in a fox hunt in England. Apparently, although she was a good rider, when her horse tried to take a fence, it hit the two top rails, fell heavily, and she landed on her head -- exactly where my headaches tended to occur.

I hadn't told Ashley that either.

My ancestor did not survive this accident. She "encoded" shock and severe grief about leaving her beloved husband and children prior to her death, which occurred soon after her accident.

She had been asking the subsequent generations to help her heal this by giving them migraine headaches. It was a "call for help!" I found this utterly amazing, yet it felt true in my body. I actually felt like I was her.

Ashley facilitated a beautiful past life healing with her through me. I had tears, goosebumps, and finally felt some kind of energy leave my head. Frankly, it was amazing. Then I felt deep peace.

I have not had a migraine headache since. I am very grateful. To me, this means my ancestor and the other members of my maternal bloodline are also free. All of this makes me very happy.

Thank you, Ashley and Source, for this work. It feels wonderful to be free of this pain. I am so grateful.
